Pakistan's Asifa Ali won the gold medal in the 49kg category during the World Taekwondo Octagon Diamond Games 2023 in Korea.
Asifa is also a student of Global Sports Management at Seoul National University in South Korea.
Earlier, Pakistan's Hamza Saeed, Aqdasullah Qadeer, and Naila won a bronze medal each in the event as well.

Hamza lost his semi-final match against Korea's Ryong Woo Li by 2-0.
Earlier, Hamza defeated Mohammad Ashraf of Afghanistan by 2-1 in the quarter-final of the event.
In World Taekwondo Beach Championship G-2, Pakistan's Aqdasullah and Naila won bronze medals in the Poomsae Event.
